I am an experienced manager, software developer and digital archaeologist, and am passionate about being part of teams producing meaningful projects. I have nearly 10 years experience in various roles completing grant based and university game design and archaeological projects throughout my career. These roles include technical and design responsibilities, and have culminated in successful management roles informed by my experience and colleagues. Technical Director of ongoing research project. I oversee VR app design and development, collect photogrammetry and maintain and teach digital workflows to involved students and partners.
Project Manager of NEH funded WebGL and kiosk application which guides users on a tour of Fay Jones Structures in Arkansas. Managed a team of artists, programmers and designers, worked with content partners and maintained notes and technical documentation for project.
Online Webgl application for use in US History sections on civil rights. Managed a team of writers, programmers and academics to incorporate primary source articles in an engaging narrative. Won Silver for the Higher education category from the Serious Play Awards competition in 2021.
Project Manager of large research project which conducted user testing of Roman houses, network analysis of house plans, machine learning research of Pompeii wall art and facilitating research output to understand human behavior in Ancient Pompeii. I would facilitate testing, maintain meeting notes and documentation, as well as organize conference presentations.
Designer for Twine HTML narrative game original 3d mini game and overall update. I worked closely with the course professors to implement narrative design choices that boosted usability and engagement. Worked with images, readings and videos to create a cohesive interactive narrative game to teach Roman history and general writing skills.
I worked as a level designer to collaborate with artists and senior staff to block out combat sections and design environments for this game offered as part of an online course. The course has been offered many years online to teach Intro to Roman Civilization.
